이원모이야기

올 설날 연휴는 고향 영양에가서 올해 93세인 어머니 봉양을 하였다. 귀경길에 대학후배 김희선선생이 있는 봉화에 들렀다. 시인이기도 한 김선생은  그간 교직에 몸담았다가 작년에 정년퇴직하여 시댁인 의성김씨 종택을 “토향고택” 한옥스테이 시설로 운영하고 있다. 이곳에서는 도자기만들기, 붓글씨체험 그네타기도 할 수있다. 40년만에 만나도 옛모습 그대로인 예쁜후배를 보며 세월이 정지하고 있다는 생각이 든다. 정결한 고택을 돌아보고 아름다운 옛 생각을 하며 돌아온다. 40년이 마치 어제와 같다는 생각이 든다.
